1. The bureau registered an initiative by MPs Luluashvili and Kvaraia on the amendments to the code of local self-governments, namely:

  • The terms ‘Gamgeoba’ and ‘Gamgebeli’ are removed from the respective articles of the electoral code
  • The composition of the municipal council is defined in a new way
  • And other amendments

2. The bureau registered an initiative by MPs kuchava and Mdinaradze on the amendments to the tax code:

3. The bureau registered an initiative by the government on the amendments to the law on the status of protected territories, namely:

  • The territory of the former pioneer camp located near the village of Sioni will no longer be within the borders of the Kazbegi National Park

4. The bureau registered an initiative by MP O. Danelia on amendments to the law on higher education, namely :

  • Defining the regulatory norms and concepts for veterinary educational programs

5. The bureau registered an initiative by MPs I. Tsulaia, M. Mdinaradze and V Zardaishvili on the amendments to the administrative offense code. According to the proposed amendments, in case of violation of the “No Parking” and “No Stopping” signs, the fine will remain to be 10 GEL (instead of 20 GEL).

6. The bureau registered an initiative by MPs R. Arveladze on the amendments to the law on the national regulatory authorities, which is being discussed in an accelerated procedure. According to the proposed amendments:

  • A number of norms spelled out in the Law on the Civil Service will cover the staff of the national regulatory authorities
