1. The Bureau registered an initiative by G. Liluashvili and P. Mkheidze on amendments to the local self-government code. The amendments newly define the duties of the mayor and ruling council.

2. The Bureau registered amendments to the law on tobacco control and amendments to the administrative violations code.

  • The amendments envisages that the implementation date for the new regulations on packaging will be change from July 1 2017 to July 1 2022.

3. The Bureau a legislative proposal by the business ombudsman, which includes amendments to the law on the sale of agricultural lands.

5. The Bureau registered an initiative by MP Roman Gotsiridze on amendments to the Budget Code of Georgia, according to which the volume of the reserve fund of the President and the Government should be reduced.

6. The Bureau registered an initiative by the government on the amendments to law on insurance, according to which the source of funding for the government oversight agency is changed.

7. The Bureau registered an initiative by MP Merab Tsiklauri on amendments to the law on licensing of educational activities, according to which administrative proceedings won't be made towards persons conducting educational activities without a license until September 1, 2018.
