1. The amendments initiated by Tamar Chugoshvili related to law of Georgia on legal aid and law of Georgia on lawyers were registered at Bureau, which states that:

• The mandate of legal aid service to protect the victims of domestic violence is widened in case of administrative and civil cases in the manner prescribed in law, which is related to the fact of domestic violence. (That type of disputes might be related to domestic, real estate and also other types of disputes).

• The executive board of Georgian Bar association will be legally bound to choose the member of the board, with open competition, who has high reputation and  the experience of working as a lawyer no less than 5 years.

• The rotation rule of the members of legal aid service is defined

• The authority of legal aid council to further define the matters for the purposes of widening the mandate, from 1st January 2018 until 1st 2021, is maintained which is not defined in the law of Georgia on legal aid and according to that legal aid ( representation in court) it shall be ensured by the service, taking into account the insolvency of the person and the importance and the complexity of the case.

2. The Initiation of Government about the amendments on Law of Georgia on Public Service (author – Civil service Bureau) was registered at Bureau, which states that:

• The transitional period is considered from 1st July 2017 until 31st December 2018 (instead of until 31st December), as for the establishment of earnings and incentive purposes in public institutions, the period is considered from 1st December 2017 until 31st December

• The authority of Bureau to develop recommendations in order to monitor the results of the events as prescribed in law and for the implementation of public service uniform practice,is considered. The public institution will be legally bound to correct the stuff list based on the recommendations of bureau and indicated norms.

2. The initiation of Government related to amendments of law of Georgia on Education Quality Improvement and accompanying package of laws was registered at Bureau, which states that:

• The principle terms of National qualifications framework and terms related to classificatory of learning fields, is defined. Currently, some terms defined in draft law, are defined in different ways in laws “on Higher education” and” on vocational education”.
  Therefore, the part  of” definition of terms” is added to the law.

• The duty of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is considered, in 3 months after the entry into power of the law, it ensures national qualification framework and establishment of classificatory of learning fields.

• Considers the necessity of transitional period, so as the educational institutions will have the essential time to modify active authorized/accredited educational programs  

• Higher educational institutions are entitled to hold short cycle educational programs as a separate program.

• The draft law considers the possibility that the Bachelor`s degree program, which consists of no less than 180 credits and/or Master's degree program, which consists of no less than 90 credits, can be created in educational sphere.

4. The amendments initiated by Giorgi Kakhiani and Guram Macharashvili related to law of Georgia on Special Penitentiary Service and also amendments related to 7 laws were registered at Bureau, which states that the term prize/bonus is altered with reward, in the presented draft law. Also:

Apart from that the amendments related to imprisonment code:

• The amount of the remuneration of Labor  at Ministry of corrections of Georgia, is defined according to the order of the minister of corrections of Georgia ( the legal ground is created according to law of Georgia on Remuneration of Labor)
